this was useful, we have a cashmere doe on her first kid and i have noted many signs that she will kid within the next day, but no actual labor yet. her ligaments are gone, she has bagged up and i did confirm the presence of milk.

My sweet girl Remi just turned 2 and is due today, and it's the first time I ever get to see a goat giving birth. Thank you for the clear explanations. I'll keep an eye on her, and wish for healthy kids!

I'm impressed with these videos...very well done! I've got 3 does due this week. It will be my first experience with goat birth (though I did have sheep, which I assume are similar). Thank you for sharing your expertise!
