How to make a Drum kit in Kong in Reason

Video tutorial on how to use the Kong Drum Designer in Reason to make your own drum kits. Load samples, create your own drum sounds or even use rex loops and trigger them all using mpc style pads in Kong.

Kong has internal effects such as compression, distortion, tape echo etc. You can also route every pad to separate outputs and then connect them to individual mixer channels in the SSL Mixer.

Conclusion: Kong is a serious beast for creating and processing drums and make beats. :P

Yeah, I make separate channels to the SSL now for all my drums. Then apply pulveriser distortion and tape saturation on them individually, hehe. :P
