Sad they cleaned the tunnel. Imagine if our world was covered in art, that wouldn't be that bad. And yet Government continues to fight it.

Thats really amazing. He used towels to draw that, making the grafitti finally got the government to clean up the tunnel

I think he very much accomplished his goal -- the impact of the image, curious onlookers are gonna slow down to see "what the hell is that guy doing?", especially when they see cop cars stopping periodically. While the cops and officials are fussing round deciding what to do, people are seeing it. And once they reach a decision, you get a newly cleaned tunnel that otherwise would have just stayed dirty. Wonderful work, even if we can only see it in recording now.
