You are right he was challanging ,and perhaps I was a bit hasty. I have heard him over many shows say both, that he would be happy to pay more taxes to a successful Gov. and that he also doesn't want his taxes raised, so which is it Bill ? I also do not think he is greedy -overall he earned his money w/o hurting anyone.Yet I feel he doesn't want to come up off cash when it was the bad guys that got us here.. not him. So why should the gravy train slow down for him ? I'm just saying......

Bill has stated in many episodes over the years that he would be glad to pay more in taxes, and included himself with the wealthy who should do so. I don't know why you feel he gave off that vibe on last night's show.

I respect your opinion, but I'll give you only 3 stars because it's not just Maher. I'd give Maher another shot..... I envy his wealth too... I wished I was a famous songwriter....didn't happen and now I flip burgers so to speak. From what I hear this man is pretty generous to charities he believes in. YOu should watch his standup specials on HBO....you can find them on youtube

I think you took him defending capitalism as him being greedy. Michael Moore was talking about scrapping capitalism in its current form. Maher defended it by saying, perhaps it just needs some boundaries. Bottom line is he has said on numerous occasions that he would pay more taxes, and that interview with Moore, in no way showed otherwise.
