MS amma is personified Sangeetha Saraswathi. Whosoever hears her golden, pious, silky....... voice, without an iota of doubt, would get themselves obsolved of their sins, relieved of evil thoughts and get purified. The more you hear to such greats the more you go closer to attaining PARAMAPADA / MOKSHA. All of us are fortunate to have taken birth and could hear her divine voice. God too must be feeling lucky to be able to hear in Swargaloka and wondering of his ability to have created a wonder

Carnegie Hall concert, 1977. Man those concert halls abroad have just brilliant acoustics w/ just the right amount of reverberation -- that's why the recording sounds particularly wonderful. Though this is on the higher side for Carnatic vocal.

Do you know that a mike-less violin can be heard till the balcony in some of these halls? Boston Symphony, Vienna Musikverein, Sydney Opera House Concert Hall, Walt Disney hall? We just don't have such incredible acoustics in India anywhere yet.
