Isiah, 43 Points (25 In 4th), 8 Assists On Bad Ankle; Game 6, 1988 NBA Finals:
"Playing on an ankle so severely sprained he could barely put weight on it, Isiah Thomas scored 25 points in the third quarter -- a Finals record for points in a quarter. Despite his valiant effort, the Pistons would lose Game 6 and eventually the series to the Lakers." - NBA.com

  • The pistons couldn't get a break. they were close for years and couldnt get over hump until 1989.

  • Isiah sucks

  • @netpup I know him as a Pistons Bad Boy, that's for damn sure. Trying to pick fights with guys twice his size, and playing as dirty as necessary to win it all.

  • @sumskater999 thats funny considering that you don't know Isiah

  • Anyone that believe that Isiah was faking, need to eat a dick. That man had so many injuries throughout his career. That was the heart of a man who finally made it there against a team that already had won many times, Pistons were the underdog; he wanted to win. The passion was there. No one could stop Zeek.

  • even if he did fake the limp, which he didnt, i think you losers are forgetting about the 25 POINTS IN THE FOURTH QUARTER of a playoff game.

  • Gutsiest player ever

  • Knowing Isiah, he probably exaggerated his limp.

  • If you can score 25pts in a 1/4 there's no need to carry this big limp whenever you're not scoring, just BS

  • @mufcrulz once you get the juices flowing you can start to run. Its just really painful starting and stopping.
