After feeling ready to end my life after a bad experience with rehab, I was very encouraged during the holidays by the kindness of strangers. Thank you to everyone who cares. Special thanks to Allie and Cass for the nice card and encouragement.

Joey...i know methadone sucks..but on the othter side u are able to live a "normal" life.i am on it and i have a appartment do some sports play guitar and also have a parttime job. I relapsed before 2 weeks on smack for a few days and got up with my dosis.. I mean mayby u should consider to go on methadone..

methadone saved my life. I was NEVER able to stop using heroin until I got onto the methadone clinic...it literally saved my life. It not only stopped me from wanting to use heroin, it stopped me from craving any mind or mood altering drug...I was able to stay clean, get a job, move into my own place, go to college and live my life again. Yes it is an opiate but it is legal one. You get counseling and support while detoxing off of it. I encourage anyone trying to get on methadone.It saves lives
