Cellphones and Brain Tumors: 15 Reasons for Concern, Science, Spin and the Truth Behind Interphone

This report, sent to government leaders and media today, details eleven design flaws of the 13-country, Telecom-funded Interphone study. The Interphone study, begun in 1999, was intended to determine the risks of brain tumors, but its full publication has been held up for years. Components of this study published to date reveal what the authors call a 'systemic-skew', greatly underestimating brain tumor risk.

The design flaws include categorizing subjects who used portable phones (which emit the same microwave radiation as cellphones,) as 'unexposed'; exclusion of many types of brain tumors; exclusion of people who had died, or were too ill to be interviewed, as a consequence of their brain tumor; and exclusion of children and young adults, who are more vulnerable.

@MyIria ....New Genetically Modified foods (GMOs) are being approved but they aren't even tested by the FDA because the FDA has its hands in the pockets of the drug companies. If honest testing were done, GMOs would never see the light of day. They are causing allergies, neuropathies, organ damage and even death. There's big money in the use of cell phones and tele-companies are not going to let go of that easily.

@MyIria ..do you not know that the reason the safety of supplements and herbs are being questioned is because they actually work and this frightens the drug companies. They are taking steps to try to eliminate ALL supplements and herbs even going so far as trying to make it illegal to grow herbs. They are buying up almost all family-run companies that make these supplements. Why? Not because they want health. They want to control and sell more drugs. They want you to be sick as long as poss.

Oh my; oh my, microwaves are compared to X-rays, although X-rays have a much higher frequency than visible light while microwaves have a much lower frequency frequency than visible light (so visible light lies in between)...
