A Lark in the Parks: Communicating the Joy of Science in a YouTube World
Yosemite Valley is the U-Tube eroded by a glacier; Olympic National Park is the pile of groceries that the bagger hasn't gotten to yet; Crater Lake and Yellowstone are what happens if you shake the Diet Pepsi can before you pop the top. Dr. Alley has trekked with Penn State students to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, imitated Johnny Cash, and gone bungee jumping in New Zealand, to serve students and other citizens who prefer their science without lectures. Join him for a look at general education and public television on the go.

There are few professors I would want to have more than Dr. Alley. He is absolutely entertaining and informative at the same time.
