I was so sad when she died, but she's with God now, probably singing! One of the greatest gospel singers of all time. She left us her great music and also some of her recipes! I still make her version of chicken and dumplings.....lots of pepper, and you need to have a dumpling dunker! Loved this woman!!

This brings back so many memories of my childhood. I was fortunate enough to have known Vestal and Howard. They were two of the sweetest people in the world and I'm sure they are strolling through heaven today and enjoying themselves to no end! See you soon Vestal and Howard. Tell my dad I said HI!

@luke6918 I know of one person who use to sing this song just as good as Mrs.Vestal did and that was my Godmother who passed away a few years ago now.

I'm so content just to know that when I'm walking the dark hills of my life, he is right there walking w/ me. I cannot imagine life w/ out knowing who God is. How do people do it w/out him. Thank you Lord for walking w/ me thru my life.
