Though I agree with you, why should someone saying this actually offend you? You could just explain to them, as you did in this video, that defending a position and finding/defending the truth are two different things; being "offended" seems like an over-reaction...

@shellysunfish I'm going for a science teacher certification. Logic/reason are basically the same things as philosophy, and I don't like philosophy.

@TruthofthePeople I'm not into philosophy one bit. I don't see the point to it really. Even philosophy professors such as Barbara Forrest admit that philosophy can't prove anything, and that's what I aim to do with science, prove things. It "asks unanswered questions" sure, but I really don't care. The only philosophy, if you can really call it that, I really hold to is that people should be treated equal.

Not that I would wish to advise you to go into law, but I think there are specializations for lawyers that are not the way you characterize them, particularly in government agencies and judgeships.

@Microtardz I guess I'll have to be more specific. I like money because in the world we live in it is the most efficient and safe method of acquiring goods.

@dRevan64 I honestly don't care about money. A system of monetizing different goods without actually having anything to trade with. But it does work out better than a barter system in the end.
