In this video I show you how to do the clipper work on the head and ears... I would have put part 3 and 4 together but they were just a minute too long for youtube so I seperated them out. Please watch both parts to understand how to groom the entire head and face. Thanks for watching hope you enjoy! :)

  • What do you suggest if you do accidentally clip the ear? Styptic powder like you would use if you cut the quick?

  • @peachy6969 Probably not styptic powder... maybe some liquid bandage would be best. I don't use the powder on any kind of skin injury. You can get the liquid bandage at just about any big store like wal-mart or a pharmacy... do try not to nick the ear though as they bleed like crazy!!!

  • You should always use a 40 blade inside the ears. A #10 blade is a high risk for cutting the ear. A #40 also gives it a cleaner look, and you can use your #40 to edge the ears so you dont take the risk of using your shears and cutting the dogs ear. If you cut an ear your best bet is to use super glue. It sounds bad but it is the best way to stop the bleeding. Styptic and bandage will not work.

  • Beard cut completely wrong.. FAIL.

  • Hi I was hoping to see the brow technique

  • woul like 2 say I love the way you explain n show us how 2 groom, simple and easy 2 follow thanx x

  • Great video on pet Schnauzer trimming. Instead of scissors, I would use a #40 blade on the edge ONLY of the ear. This gave a neat, even, clean trim. The #40 blade is so fine that the ear leather cannot fit between the teeth of the blade, therefore avoiding accidental cuts.

  • I made the mistake of letting my breeder groom my puppy (which he hadn't done in years!) and he definitely cut the moles AND past it! his face looks all unproportional! I really hope I find a groomer like you

  • Whoops, sorry I just saw that there's a part 4 on the face area!

  • I have a Mini & have started investing in the equipment that I need to properly groom him. What kind are the curved scissor's that you use? Also, a demo on trimming the eyebrows, beard & mustache, & sanitary areas would be an amazing help to us newbies, lol! Thank you soooo much for doing the video's. What a well behaved doggie Sam is!

  • Your grooming tutorials are informative and engaging, and I really like your grooming styles. I was wondering what brand(s)/size(s) of scissors and blending sheers you use. I'd like to make the jump to more professional tools and I'd appreciate your opinion. Thanks!
