Proofpleez: There are different recordings of how evolution takes place. There are different writings about who was the best ever basketball player. Andy Stanley said his piece and you have written your view - ironically as he was teaching about mockery, you mocked him. At some point, you have to decide which one you believe and go with it. Your comment about the "one true word", therefore, is illogical as an argument against faith in the bible or God.

Do mind me asking why you are so adamant and seemingly bitter? I am not interested in persuading, debating or convincing. I am interested in how people get to where they do on what they believe. You obviously have a story behind your beliefs, what is it?

@jodistrathman I should have been more clear. Those mocking comments were meant personally for you and any other grown up who clings to fairy tales. This sheep like mentality is retarding our society, crippling rational inquiry and hurting scientific progress. You can delude yourself however you want.....just know this...god (all gods) are man made and non existent. Eventually children come to know that Santa Claus isn't real.....it helps them understand reality....I wish the same for you.

@ProofPleez: i disagree with your thoughts on this which is fine. You can think Andy Stanley is ludicrous, that is fine (I dont think he is) but hearing the mockery of the "all knowing, all seeing entity" which is referencing my God hurts. Your comments were not meant to hurt me personally, I know. But Jesus has loved me through the deepest depths of pain, grief and heartache and has given me hope in hopeless times. I hope you know that comfort. I love Him and couldn't not say so.

You know what amazes me? That there are so many different versions of the "one true word". If an all knowing, all seeing entity wrote instructions for life......imagine how clear and unambiguous it would be. I know this will never clear comment approval.....just wanted you to know how ludicrous this is.
