  • I think when DeeDee left for the few years ,Kathy discovered herself as the lead singer and a great job she did and has ever since!!!

  • Kathy did say that when she was younger. Guess what... She got her wish !!!

  • Ok, they sang elevator music, but it was still darn good elevator music.

  • Regarding what life was like in those days, well, I was born in 1940 and was in high school through the late 1950s and it was just what you see here. Family, friends, school. We walked a lot of places and in my hometown, St. Louis, we had the run of the city as soon as we could ride a streetcar and find our way home. So kids could go anywhere safely without their parents worrying about them. No drugs, little drinking. Sex? A place to shop for nice fashions.

  • Thank you, Boatracer! I think you also answered my questions regarding Blue Moon. New fan here and loving it as I go. It's fun as I discover even more clips.

  • @KendallWriter Yes I think she was on maternity leave as you say. Kathy has no children ,so she needed no leave. There were a few earlier clips when Kathy was sick that she missed a show ,but very few !

  • By this time Dianne came back to the group but it is interesting to see she is not in this clip. Usually after '64 it was Dianne, Kathy and one of the other two. Was Dianne on "maternity leave?" By the way, I have never seen a Lennon Sisters trio clip without Kathy in the mix. Is there one out there?

  • @Thepast2012 The technology we have today hasn't made life better, and the censorship, though lessened, hasn't given us better entertainment, but much worse with less imagination.

  • I can answer that... compared to today ,it was pure heaven !!!

  • Such sweet typical old fashion American girls!!! I wonder what life was like in those "good old days"

  • Like fashion models transported from the pages of 'Vogue' magazine!!

  • Agree with you there boatracer39, this is certainly the most beautiful version of this song.
