Al nashir could have benn prosecuted by a navel court martial. Charged with simple murder and attempted murder.No show trial with exagerated cover charges. But bush essentially granted him complete immunity fron legitamate prosecution by ordering the c.i.a. to torture him.

Getmo should close, but the question is WHEN to close it, HOW to close it and WHAT to do with its current inmates. Note the NYT has an article about 11 former/released prisoners who are now back in the terrorist fold. Is this what we want with the rest?

Plecgnat. Try researching what Gitmos like. It's run 2 extremly high military standards of treatment appropriate 4 unranked serious terrorists. David Hicks put on 20 kilos. Excellent food/dental/health care etc. Aprox 40 released inmates have returned 2 terrorism. Really it's easy to find. Would U prefer they move 2 the US get Boston Legal type representation, maybe bail &move into your neighbourhood? Suicidal fools do not listen 2 a mortal enemy & their actions. Do U understand "Kill Infidels?"

This is ridiculous. She is trying to say that she is happy about the Gitmo closing? If so, she was the only one, I have seen multiple people on other channels complaining about the closing. A Cole victim's mother was on Fox saying that she boycotted the meeting. MSNBC is trash.
