I agree as well...Center City spending as well as the banking industry are still strong and are getting stronger. Construction costs are at an all time low...Charlotte WILL rebound.

Charlotte is hurting now but i think it will recover and grow rapidly again like it did then.

If by lamer version of Atlanta you mean cleaner, less of a dump, and bigger...then yes, lamer version is right. Atlanta is smaller and trashier than Charlotte.

Your city has a lot going for it. A lot of places have high crime but everything else around it is falling apart too. Charlotte is a growing city, quit always trying to find the negative.
