Malaria is a life-threatening parasitic disease accounting for 1 out of 5 of all childhood deaths in Africa. Pregnant women and children under five years of age are most vulnerable. In Kenya alone, about 25 million people are at risk. This disease can be prevented by insecticide-treated bed nets at a cost on just £5. But because of poverty, many families cannot afford a bed net as the little money they have they use it for food for their children. Did you know you can be a part of the solution? Yes, with as little as £5, you can save a family.
This anti-malaria campaign video was created by Lillian Omariba as part of an MA in PR course at the University of Westminster.
