http://www.marcreeves.co.uk I bought some new Seymour Duncan pickups recently to replace the stock ones in my Yamaha RBX-270, so I decided to do a comparison video to see how much of an improvement upgrading the pickups in an entry level bass would offer.

Hope you find this informative! Questions? Drop a comment below - and click the subscribe button to be kept up to date with my latest reviews, blogs and music videos!

  • Dang, thats a nice difference. Wonder what they would sound like on a squire. Yes, I said squire, SO WHAT!

  • @martin10921 I reckon it would probably make a great difference - they're relatively cheap so I think it would be worth trying out!

  • i recently installed seymour duncan spb 3 pick ups on my tokai p bass, and i have to say that it's improved the sound and tone of the bass. Did you ever consider the spb3s? very high output pickup and versatile plenty of low end.

  • @Grun1410wald the SPB3's are ones I'll probably consider in the future! glad they're working for you :)

  • deeper

  • @aryagamis I agree!
