3gun Match - Hat Cam Tachyon XC 2010

It rained a lot less than it was supposed to and was as much fun as it looks.

The folks from Tachyon XC seemed to like my previous videos enough to send me a free 3-D camera system. I don't think the kind of videos I take can benefit from 3-D. Hell, I can't even see in 3-D. So I opted to use those cameras individually. The 2010 model has an wider field of view so it is a lot easier to get the angle right when mounted on the hat. You will notice that you can see a lot more of the targets now. I positioned the second camera downrange to provide some angles that you rarely see in shooting videos. I am still refining the placement and should have even better downrange camera angles in the future. The fact that the cameras are waterproof came in handy in the rain. Sound quality also seems a bit better. Overall the 2010 model is a definite upgrade over the already excellent 2009. Visit http://www.tachyoninc.com for more information.
