Das Rilke Radikal: LET THE GAME START (part 1, 27.6.09: "No Big Bang")

Berlin-NewCologne, 27th of June 2009: The german band "Das Rilke Radikal" (DR2) LIVE @ Nikodemuskirche in Reuterkiez. "LET THE GAME START" (based on the poem "DAS SPIEL (ZEIGE DEINE LEERE)" in the myspace-blog) was the opener in this very first long concert (56 minutes titled "No Big Bang") after 10 years. EXCEPT THIS FIRST TRACK (the only half-prepared poem: written at the same afternoon before the concert, but live completed!) the german lyrics were COMPLETELY SPONTANEOUSLY IMPROVISED (the neuromethod of "free word jam") by the spokenword-performer Tom de Toys and the musicians follow his voice also improvising: Dr.B (neurotrumpet), with whom De Toys founded DR2 in Düsseldorf 1996, Simon Breth (cello), for whom it was the first time to play with the original duo, and Rolls Rolf Langhans (Performance Impulse SÜHD), who was the special guest in this concert. The whole concert will be published on DVD, including a piano solo of De Toys ("Desinterested Piano") and some extra minutes inbetween the songs...
