Tommmy..Granted with hindsight I'm sure the jockey would ride a differnt race if he had the chance again..but like us he probably thought the horse had the speed to get there regardless. Anyway hes not the first good horse to lose a race he should have won and he wont be the last. Pleased I'm not the only sad bugga who enjoys the banter..my turn to cry today if Peddlers does not win..and Stevie (above) can get his own back. all good fun !!

well i am training horses myself and my eyes didnt tell me any lies i saw a jockey trying to make up 6 or 7 lenghts and being over confident when dunguib was only coming to the final bend i he had all ready gave menorah and get me out of here a huge lead and to be fair dunguib made up a huge amount of ground but was just asked to much if he had have been upsides menorah (were he should have been) he would have won handy i had a fiew racing friends over to watch it and they say the same

we all wanted him to win ...racing needs heroes but it's easy to get carried away and see only want you want to see (done it enough times myself) Dunguib did his best but it was not to be his day. Good days and bad days- such is life. have fun!

@jsilkcut dunguib was still the best horse in the racde his jockey lost him the race giving him to much to do at the last bend he was 5 or 6 lenths behing before he got his run
