  • Yeah I had one with springs many moons ago. Used to risk tearing ya nipples off when it closed. Odd really. It's all back and shoulders. No chest at all. Nice little gadget though. Great vid.

  • @voianhemsed Thank you for the information,I appreciate it very much. The Altus pdf chart is very helpful.

  • @xxdonaldqxxx By the way, to get a real idea of exactly what body parts are benefited (if you didn't get a chart with the equipment) google " Altus Athletic :: Back & Chest Expander" and open the pdf file.

  • @xxdonaldqxxx

The vast majority of the exercises will primarily work the back muscles with the chest usually being worked out secondarily. When you pull the expander out with your arms stretched in front for example, on the way back in, as your arms come back together, you can tense your pectorals to get a slightly better chest workout.

  • I used a similar device in my youth made with metal springs which were removable. Then i moved on to weights. But that expander really muscled me up.

  • I just wish I knew which body parts are benefited from the individual exercises. I'm going to get a chest expander but I hope it comes with a chart explaining which exercises to do for each body part.

  • I think that this is fantastic, you don`t have to deal with heavy weights, and you can do you`re workout everywhere you want. Thanks for this great fitness-exercise- tipps. I think I buy one of these expanders.

    Great!

  • are there any exercises for legs that you can do?

  • Thank you, You have a great body, nice work.

I just bought one, my dad used to do it and has a terrific physic, I'm gonna try it now.

May I ask: how many times a week do you recommend these exercises? or is there any other formula for the frequency. I just did today, my arms are sour, and already cant wait for the next routine :) . I just bookmarked this. Thanks a million!
