All this "Leary ripped of Hicks" crap... Yes Leary did steal material from Hicks on his first album that was released like 20 years ago. Since then he has released tons of original material, standup, songs, tv-shows etc. Its not like he has been rehashing Hicks' jokes for 20 years....and if he had done that, so what? Elvis Presley did nothing but sing covers for his whole career, but that doesn't make him any less amazing.

I think some of the people here sound like former hecklers who did not know what they were getting into. Leary is a hack. You can tell when he steals jokes when he starts spazzing out though not before he decorates the punchlines in 'his' act. If you've suffered through the "Douchebags & Doughnuts" video, Leary either has a petit mal seizure or needs serious drugs to perform. Fix your f*cking teeth Leary, you have enough ill-gotten money to do it. Foundation pfft. My ass.

We should not be surprise that Denis is a good actor ln his shows, after all, we know how good he is at pretending to be a comedian.
Billl Hicks=authentic, Denis Leary=fabrication (along with all his shows, books, films, tours).
