  • Hi Anniesho,

    I start by rolling the brush in the lightest color. In this case, yellow. Second, I rolled it in orange. Finally, I tipped it in red and went back and forth sea saw style, just mixing the red and orange on the brush. In the case of the leaves, I started with yellow and then mixed in indigo.

    I mostly use Holbein water colors with some Windsor and Newtons and Maries yellow.
