In a race that came down to the last 15m the Women's 200m Individual Medley Final saw an extremely competitive field narrowed to just two Olympians. Caitlin Leverenz finished in 1st with a time of 2:10.22, just ahead of Arianna Kukors (2:11.30), who took 2nd. Kukors just edged out 18-year-old Elizabeth Pelton by .25 seconds in the final 5m to earn her spot on the Olympic Team.
