I never knew that the song Perifia had inspired a movie.Mexico back in the 1940's,50's had so many great singers and composers that have left a big footprint in the music scene.Viva Mexico y la bella Sara Montiel.

una voz ahumada y maravillosa! y tan caliente esta mujer con su baile... los movimientos sugestivo y sinuoso.
también penso que su tratamiento es pulido y luminoso.

Laura, you have done a great job with this documentary. Why did you do it and do you have any more? I remember my Dad listen to the song over and over growing up in teh 60's.

I was five years old and living in pre WWII Hong Kong when I first heard "Perfidia". It has been one of my favorite songs lo these many years. Thank you for the history. "Frenesi" is also a lovely song.

Great, great, great....I've know the tune to this tune quite some time, but it isn't until now that I'm undertaking the endeavor of learning it, thanks to a request. I love it...thanks for the historical and musical insight, it has helped tremendously...all great songs and hits should have your "mini-documentaries" as a record in history, and get paid for it if you can...or por amor al arte!
