Despite the only loss to Birdie i think i did it not that bad with the character lots of street fighter fans know, love & master. Not many fancy combos which need a thousand times of practicing or even cheating, but more focus on timing and judgement which yields more fun. Basically on the expert difficulty level you can't attack as aggressively as in the normal or normal plus levels because the CPU opponents are programmed almost cheatingly prophetic when you execute any move and able to connect their combos everytime they hit you with a comboable basic move. So unless you are really a combo master who can execute all knids of combos extremely precisely and know extactly when they will connect and when they will not against every single opponent, and implement all this in a realtime one-time run 100% correctly, you probably will find the game too hard to beat, or, more concessively, pull off a one-credit finish by urself just like what you saw here.

Difficulty: Expert (maximum)
Damage Level: Normal
Timer Speed: Normal
Game Speed: Normal
Max Round: 3
Automatic Defense: Off
System: MAME/Arcade
Contoller: Standard 10-button Non-programmable USB Gamepad with Analog Sticks
Save/Load States or Cheating of any kind: Zilch

  • good job

  • Sometimes when I beat it like this (with out losing a battle) at the "ken master" part, instead of saying 'Your skill has not gone unnoticed,' it says,'Someone new has entered the tournament.' But it never does anything 'new.'

  • excellent play

  • wow i remember when this game was first released back in 94 i think. following the success of SF2, fans wanted a new SF game with new sprites and details and the alpha series was born. i know coz the hype surrounding this game was like SF4 at that time

  • @jowrab nope. this is a CPS2 system B board

  • i love how when you damage your opponent, the red bar slowly drains down after the yellow is already gone. it's a neat quick way to see how much damage was taken during a hit or a combo.

  • @Furley293

it was probably supposed to be shin akuma or shin bison. but they didnt get programmed in.

  • Did you see dans health in the first round it still had a little health left he sucks so bad the CPU gaved up he must be more of a pussy ass bitch then I thought

  • I never realised it before, but Cody & Jessica are in the crowd in Charlie's stage!

  • Can you do Street Fighter Alpha 1 Guy Playthrough, and M. Bision Playthrough
