Its called hacker ethics- if information is public, keep it f'ng public. If information is private keep it f'ing private! govt is supposed to be a PUBLIC institution held accountable to the people, made by the people&for the people. However we have awful private corporations vesting close ties w/ politicians&govt agencies. just in the news recently- politicians can NOW recieve an almost unlimited source of funding from corporations as limits & controls have been taken out
