  • There is a new Becky video on You Tube. Please search You Tube for: "Becky Jane Taylor - 6 Nations (Singing The Same Song)” I think it has some connection with the Rugby World Cup, something similar to Pavarotti singing Nessun Dorma a few years ago at the Football World Cup.

  • To mark the tenth anniversary of 9/11 I have uploaded a video tribute to the fire fighters and others on rescue work in the twin towers disaster with pictures before and after the disaster. Search You Tube for: “Becky Jane Taylor In New York – 9/11 Heroes”

  • Sorry, there is the french coloratura,Patricia petibon; the canadian,Suzie Le Blanc and the Roumanian mezzo,Cristina Lordachescu.I just cant get into the pop girls doing this! I love listening to BJ doing other vocals-just not Haendel.

  • @SuperJohnnykay This is a short version of the aria; coloratura usually comes in the latter part of the longer version. The ‘pop girls’ sing this because it is a popular song. Haendel would have heard lots of people singing this outside of opera. It was the pop music of his day.

  • @Comodusprimus You are SO right. No dignity, no line, appalling pronunciation and horrible ornamentations on the da capo. @Bish29 it is right to ask young singers to watch great artists. They then learn how not to sing in such a self-indulgent manner.

  • @mex73aussie I think you understand every word she sings, it’s just that you complain about the pronunciation of some words. When an Italian girl sings in English she may not pronounce every word correctly, but I would not complain about that.

  • Looks like we have all the usual cloth eared experts that know it all again, music is not a competition it is something to be enjoyed, and 88 dislikes out of nearly half a million is no mean feat. To be respected by "real" musicians says all there is to know.

  • Never heard of her but now I'll never forget. Stunning captivating voice.

  • @ClemvSt not cool

  • Very bad!!!

  • beautiful sound. unlike the noise some twats are making on here. let us hear if you can do better, if not, stop being such pretentious pillocks and go and do something useful with your petty little selves.

  • someone should teach this girl some italian, and then she should try again.
