Beau Knows (What?)

We wondered the same thing when we caught up with Chef Beau Macmillan during the last evening of his highly successful Lunch and Learn program.

This Iron Chef winner has been working hard on redoing the kitchen at Elements, to working with the Food Network on some projects we know but can't say. One we can talk about is The Best Thing I Ever Ate, where various Food Network stars, talk about their favorite spots and dishes there. The show plucked Beau to do a segment and it should be renamed "Beau Mac Gives Back" as he picked some of his local friends to try and highlight.

One in particular is Matt "the meteor" Carter. Beau Mac loves Carter's French Onion Soup at Zinc Bistro. He claims that he and his girlfriend go out of their way while traveling to find one that beats Carter's and they haven't still. Carter is humbly stumped by this admitting he does put his "spin" on his version, but is still wowed by Beau's devotion to his.
