Me and some friends make some biodiesel by filming our own TopGear Chemistry. Note to everyone: Please excuse our horrible accents and in the credits hampster should read "hamster"

  • Will it works with common rail engines?

  • @SwPiotrek As you can tell we did this as an extra credit project as far as operation in common rail I can't say I'm well versed. Making the bio is a cake walk what cars can use it is not to me. I know that in the states the 2003 1.9TDI VW engine was the last one that had injectors that bio would work sans problem. 2004+ they switched it up and the injectors could clog. Again not well versed on TDI or CDI (thank you EPA) but I'm sure a google search could clear up the question

  • I enjoyed this, good show and effort.

  • this sux

  • @SwPiotrek yes it does, there are quite a few people with common rail engines (Dodge Cummins Diesel engines for example) and runs just as good and even better, it cleans the engine and makes everything run even smoother, its a beautiful thing

  • General rule of thumb is that veg oil will not work in common rail engines

  • Good stuff, we were told by our chem teacher to watch this as homework :)

    Well done

  • 1:28 lol at his legs position :)
