We tear down the old shed we used for hay storage and rebuild it as a small barn. It's a temporary post and beam structure completely screwed together. Concrete piers, sheet metal roof and walls, and room to store farm equipment and cattle feed. The door is wide enough to easily roll in a round bale.

  • Cutting them rafter tails and the overhangs on the gable with the sawzall has got to be the biggest waste of time. Cut it right from the get go and you won't have to deal with that crap at the end. I guess you don't know how to lay out rafters though since there are no birds mouths cut.

  • @Fiberglasser03 Birds mouths make 2x4's weaker. It's a hayshack, buddy. Thanks for commenting.

  • Drats! Now ya tell me ;p. It doesn't really matter either way, I guess. Painting it just means more work and we have enough of that as it is!
