I prefer the ASDA adverts back then. It's nothing like the "WE'RE CHEAPER THAN EVERYONE ELSE FUCK THE QUALITY" adverts of today.
-
I can't listen to the Beamish ad and take it seriously, the voice and phrasing just makes it a joke.
-
It's surreal. Surreal is cool. Surreal sells beer. We will not be proved otherwise.

That Anadin ad was very funny!!!!
-
For Peep Show fans - The Orgozoid is in the Enigma ad!

This is around the time (mid 1990s) when television adverts became lower in quality. Becoming more airy-fairy and pretentiously nice. Nothing stood out and it's become worse ever since. I say, allow with many many others - bring back the style of TV adverts of the 1980s & early 1990s. They were more memorable and fun!

I didn't like any of the TYV produced trailers from the mid 90's, it really was all over the place, 1994 being the worst year.

One thing that hasn't changed with Yorkshire TV adverts: the sensational, in-your-face carpet adverts!
Is that Tamzin Outhwaite on the Anadin ad?
