Completely different styles. They all bring something to the table. Not sure why anyone is bashing them. But then again, I constantly see dippity-doo-doo-heads criticizing Yngwie Malmsteen, so that does not surprise me. Green monster alert.

oh tough question! Three wonderful guitarists, some of the finest in metal, but personally my vote is with Akira Takasaki for pure creativity and skill. Nothing but respect for the other two though! :3

Stupid argument.
For sheer speed and techinicality, Akira is the best. Lynch had some great riffs and good emotion in his work. Murray and Smith are the KINGS of melody. As a tandem, no one, I mean NO ONE even comes close to what these guys do together. I don't just mean shredding, I mean working and feeding off each other and writing brilliant music. This is like saying who's better? The Yankees, the Patriots, or Manchester United? Stupid to compare them.

Lynch's solo is the best imo. The other two are faster, but speed don't mean shit if your playing fails to evoke emotion in the listener.
