You have to give the writers a lot of credit for not doing what every viewer watching this must have thought they were doing - taking back Chloe knowing.

@fgmPostApocalypticTV Sorry, but that's false. Clark didn't even know that Chloe knew his secret at this point in time, so there's no way he could be fine with it.

@BlackvilleGrave33 Because of the same reason he erased the other people's memories? He wanted to protect Clark, who told him no one else knew his secret and that he could relate to having to hide powers.
Why in the world would he not erase Chloe's memories? Clark has no idea she knows her secret, and think he's still safe from her knowing thanks to amnesia boy.
