Aid has started to arrive in Haiti, but agencies are struggling to get supplies to all of the tens of thousands of people affected by tropical storm Hanna.
Al Jazeera's Teresa Bo reports from Gonaives, Haiti's third-largest city and one of the worst-hit areas in the country.
The situation in Haiti looks far too much like the effects of Hurricane Katrina on New Orleans. It is too bad that Americans have to rely on foreign news agencies to GET ALL THE NEWS going on in the world today. The American media giants simply don't cut it.
Thank you Al Jazeera.

since you seem to know what to do.. what should be done in this situation? send no help at all and let these people rely on their corrupt govt? I dont see how sending HUMANITARIAN aid is trying to change anything.. its just helping another human being.
Your mind is in the gutter, and your head is up your ass.
