Check out my real-world race car footwork here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28ijoZwpmbU

Software: Live for Speed
Car: LX-6 (like a Lotus 7) with "road going" realism setup
Track: Fern Bay Black
Wheel: Fanatec Porsche 911 Turbo S @ 900 degrees with H shifter enabled
Pedals: Fanatec Clubsport

I love these pedals. Extremely durable and vastly customizable. Good travel and feel on the pedals. Very, very nice for the price.

I have only modified the pedals in a very small way - I added some spacer shims to the push rod on the brake pedal for some extra firmness over the default setting, but not as firm as the "next higher up" setting. The brake now feels identical to a street car brake pedal.

  • LOL. i see it now. Yeah its a good idea. I have the csr elite pedals. Not slipping

  • @tinoushgtr Went to a skate shop today and got some of the more sticky grip tape. Put it on the accelerator and it halfway solved the problem. I think the simple shape and action of the gas pedal makes it so the foot wants to move around when you shift. But the tape did help quite a bit. Plus it looks cool.

  • what's up with the right foot movement after shifting hahaha

    @1:12, 1:15, 1:18 and so on

i love how you downshift thoug :P

  • @tinoushgtr Thanks!

If there is one fault with the Clubsports it's that the gas pedal is kinda slippery. After an aggressive shift my foot always slides on the pedal. So I just reposition it after every shift.

I've been thinking about getting some skateboard grip tape and covering the pedal with it.

  • track and your best time?:)

  • @P3ktoRis Oh I don't know. I usually drive the LX-6 on the street courses and I wasn't paying attention to times when I filmed this. The setup I use is slow anyway.

  • @MadCat360

have you tried to change the pedal angle.

Now it lies a bit flat.

  • Fanatec are currently doing a deal. Buy the pedals and you get the tuning kit for free! I have mine now and was delivered in less than a week to sunny Scotland.

Just wish I had a wheel now /:(

  • @jssreid2 me too lol

  • SOUNDTRACK

  • Nice. I just got these pedals. I wish I could downshift like that. Every time I try I end up facing the wrong way.

  • clubsport pedals are the business i have the black color kit with the gt2 wheel what wheel/shifter do you have?
