This video is my own personal bone collection, gathered between 2004 and 2006, primarily from Central California. It was later lost in October of 2008 during the Tea Fire which claimed my home on Mountain Drive. I am grateful to have a digital documentation of this loved collection.
This is an excerpt from my collection of video journaling since 2006, and demonstrates my belief in making whats private public. Im an artist and a naturalist who has always been interested in the fusion between nature and the urban designed world. As a lifelong skateboarder, I have found a way to explore the intimate details of both.
These videos are an example of my education process where even my mistakes hold important lessons. Not all the information contained within is what I would consider an absolute truth, yet reflects my truth in that particular moment and demonstrates my on-going relationship with loving nature.
I need to know are you still collecting? Because it looked like you had a great passion for it and it would be sad to hear after losing all this that you dont collect anymore. I would even suggest getting into articulation of the bones and skulls like having a exploded skull.

I just came across a skull of a skunk, and it has perfect teeth. How would you get the remaining dried skin off of it ?
