After being out until 1:00am with Wyatt, Rich and I left his house at 0500 to head for John Puda's house in Euclid to roll out to the Erie/North East area. Not only did we manage to get plenty of trains, good horns and horn shows, but we also got to see some cool power including new CSX GEVOs and KCS. In the evening, we attended a slideshow at the Lake Shore Railway Museum with a group of friends, and messed around on the property beforehand. Enjoy!

LAKE SHORE RAILWAY MUSEUM, NORTH EAST, PA
The next couple clips are shot from the NYC U25B 2500 on museum property. The 44-tonner is operating a caboose excursion for visitors for "Christmas at the Lake Shore." After the first trip returns, we climb aboard the caboose with friends Jon Clark, Jacob and Dave Trenn. Heading back towards the museum, you can make out John Puda taking pictures from the conductor's side of the 2500.
Next is a view of a westbound on CSX from the cab of CSS 802, a Little Joe.

To finish off a fantastic day, engineer Paul Volosyn shows up on L279. After Rich greets him on the radio, he treats us to the tunes of "Shave and a Haircut" and "Jingle Bells." Once he cleared, I gave him a roll-by, and thus ended the night's action trackside.

Thanks for watching!
what the conductor said at 6:35. It sounded like he said (you can't take pictures of trains)

He was just kidding: he's not actually the conductor, he's just a friend of mine who was helping out. Technically the the conductor was the guy to the left of him.
