Israel hinders resolution discussions

The Israeli administration and Shimon Peres personally put all their efforts to hinder the discussion of the Armenian Genocide Resolution N 106 in the U.S. House of Representatives.
According to the Turkish TV Company NTV, the latter can be the reason for Nancy Pelosi's statement, where the Speaker of the House of Representatives said, that the matter of voting on the N106 Resolution 'is not final'.
During his phone call to Nancy Pelosi and to Tom Lantos, the Chairman of the U.S. House Committee on Foreign Affairs, Peres told that the adoption of the N106 Resolution will harm both US and Israel.
The Embassy of Israel in Washington D.C. is also acting against the N106 Resolution, and, as if, due to their efforts some congressmen had changed their opinions over the Resolution.
