i agree... i mean gangs arnt bad alone, the government makes them worse, so does society, it's just a way of living people won't accept... you attract your opposite, it's simply logical thinking ;)

i'd follow the trail of gang signs directly to the government to see how its negligence is a direct result of gangs being formed in the first place... - trillions and trillions for the pentagon... - crumbs for education and quality living for all...

i just think white people posturing archetypical gang poses for the sake of comedy is simply postmodern blackface. What's above is no different than SNL's "lazy sunday".

yep, i love the co-option of a gang sign as a standard pose for photographs.
I looked at my grandparents photos recently and realized how much effort and time went into posing and posturing for their portraits, complete with sunday's best outfit and a pound of makeup.
By the way, this is what you get when you googleimage "westside"...
