Green Day performs their song "Murder City" (from the "21st Century Breakdown" album), Live in Concert, San Jose, California. It is the "Desperate But Not Hopeless" song.

This is a unique version of Murder City, with an Acoustic Introduction, and dramatic pauses.

Filmed in HD video, but since I was so far away, I had to zoom, and some of the quality was lost.

Very good concert. Green Day (and the opening Band Franz Ferdinand) put on a very fun, very energetic, 3 hour show (just Green Day), and they even encourage audience participation.

Oakland is a a city near San Francisco. BART is the train system. The Fox Theatre is a place where they play concerts in Oakland.

Green Day Fans should flood Green Day producers to release a live album including different interpretations such as the Live Version of Murder City.

Thank you SOOO much for uploading a high- quality version of this! I was at the end of the catwalk on the floor, about four people back, and I've been looking for this for a while. Every time I sing this on Rock Band, it says I mess up, 'cause I sing the "I just want a fucking cigarette/We've come so far, we're so fucking wasted, man" part the way he does here.
