@xwesxbetax55x Depending on your city, it's hard to find something reasonable via retail. I bought mine from Amazon (Parker SR1, set of 120 replacement blades, and a shaving kit for a total of about $40.00) and it's served me well.
One other bit of advice: if you're thinking of starting straight razor shaving, spend an extra "bit" and go to a barber and get a straight edge shave first. Learn what it feels like and ask him to talk about what he's doing while he shaves you.

@xwesxbetax55x you can check ebay sometimes they have awesome deals. some brands to look for especially as far as quality is concerned is dovo, dubl,duck,wade and butcher,boker,hinkel just to name a few. but some less expensive ones that are still great shavers are geneva cutlery and wester bros. *note* some of the ones are antiques. the companies are out of business but you can find someone online to do a restore. I did and it was so worth it.

@desk3333 Put it this way, with proper maintenance a straight razor will outlast you, there are straights from the 1800's still around and still being used to shave. You just have to hone it and take care of it properly.
