No the games arent competitive until the 4th quarter. Ask any NBA player. It's all show the 1st 2quarters, get the score close in the 3rd, and play hard in the 4th. I think other sports' all-star games are wack too! Especially the pro-bowl! that a joke!

This topic comes up every year..nobody is ever happy with the fans voting but thats the way its been and thats the way its going to be because its an "ALL STAR GAME" its for the FANS and its what the fans want to SEE!!!!!!!! as for jalens point if the player is good enough hes going to be chosen by the coaches...i totally disagree with jalen...and this happened before when grant hill got injured and still made the all star game like the following 3 years..

Letting the fans vote is wrong, it's not fair to those who put it all on the line night in & night out. Somebody needs to call up Stu Jackson & David Stern about this.
