- infected doesn't mean uneducated. What he meant is people with drive and passion for you product/mission etc. Thus the statement is not necessarily contradictive to the latter one.

there are 2 conflicting statements in his speech
1. Hire infected people (people having not very good background, education, work experience etc)
and
2. Hire people better tah n you (ie B should hire A) ie one should hire a person with more abilities than himself...in the present world there is only way to measure abilities of a person, which is his background, education, expereince etc. etc..
