Meeting Sovereign was quite a memorable encounter, especially because he managed to make the shit lying around on my desk rumble.

So, much like any other average person who thinks like this, you would prefer a predictable and over-used pattern of:

Bad guy -> Kill him because he's a bad guy -> Game over?

First you all complain that nobody is original anymore, and everyone just does the same cliche thing. Then, when someone puts a twist, you bash them for making such a drastic change and ruining the expected... get real.

The Reapers were in the story since day 1, yet you knew nothing of them - insight was needed.

That would imply that they either move slower than other ships or that they only cover the entire sky of one world at a time

well there are many worlds and many thousands of light years between them.

I think the best part is that the subtitles are just the words being said, not the speaker. Every other conversation of the game says "Name:..." but not this one. that just means something, I don't know what, but it does.

Genociding an entire population(especially when you're dealing with the size of the entire galaxy) would take an extremely long time.

They're not weak, if you remember when talking to vigil, he says that extermination is a centuries long process.

You sir have it 100% correct.

My first time playing ME1, after this conversation, my mind was BLOWN!

But then I thought to myself "Will BW really be able to live up to this epic narrative they have set up here? If so, then this may end up being the best SiFi franchise in recent memory!"

Unfortunately, ME3 trivialized this epic speech by Sovereign and thus cheapened the entire reaper narrative (in fact, the "explanation" was below average, not even in the middle).

I just pretend ME3 was fake!
