Well then I stand corrected in my misdirected anger!
-
no because he was moving he was limping trying to get back to his feet and he was at the blue line there wasnt much happening in the area that he was in
-
But you don't think that this was a similar situation? Bergeron was motionless for a good while and his teammates had to help him off the ice.
-
lol yeah like they will blow the play dead on the hit that bergeron took against philly 2 years ago stuff like that
-
Well thank you for that input! I was unaware that was the kind of call they would make in that situation. At the time I was just sort of yelling about how Patrice Bergeron was injured and no one was helping him.

they only blow the play dead if a player is motionless on the ice and is in a postion where he can be hurt if the play continued. They would have blown the play dead if the Bruins had possesion but they did not.
Just to back up ostrand006, here's the actual text from the rule book, if you're curious:
"When a player is injured so that he cannot continue play or go to his bench, the play shall not be stopped until the injured player's team has secured possession of the puck. If the player's team is in possession of the puck at the time of the injury, play shall be stopped immediately unless his team is in a scoring position."
That only applies when it isn't obvious a serious injury has occurred.
