  • I´m gonna say it this way: Fuck the critics. This album is a piece of pure Rock N´Roll, and it´s fun as hell! Damn it, I don´t care about "Chinese Democracy"; "Death Magnetic" and all those "big" comebacks. "The Cosmos Rocks" is supposed to be fun, and it is. I know you´re gonna spam me for this, but for me, as Queen fan and usually listener "The Cosmos Rocks" is the best of 2008.

They did this for FUN, not for MONEY. They like to play, and they are the best at it!

  • Great Album.

  • I'm sorry but the sound on this is SHIT ! ! !

    I love Queen

    I love to rock

but this sounds so F****** bad.

  • @lucrativeelfmongrel Agreed! I believe everyone want to resurrect Freddy. I think he's been dead for a coupla years...these boys have to play! That's what they do, too bad there's so many "critics" and "purists", and not enough music listeners...I'm sure the same dipshits criticizing this are huge fans of all this little boy and little girl music out like Ke$hit, or Lady Gag, etc. etc. etc. cheers mate good comment.

  • I don't understand why people are so down on Rodgers. (Not that it matters now anyway) Im guessing the people who dont approve didnt see them live, they blew everyone away, seriously good show. Was there this much fuss when he teamed up with Jimmy Page?!

  • this album, then they would've had a North American leg to their tour. That really upset me that they didn't come here, especially since they did for their 2005 Queen + Paul Rodgers Tour.

  • In my opinion, it really didn't seem like they cared all that much about promoting this album here in the States. I saw a commercial one or two times, ever since last October. I don't know if you knew about this or not, but I went to this thing that they had playing in theaters across America that showed their show in Ukraine, and it was meant to promote the album, but the only reason I found out about it was through their "Album Club" that I'm a part of. If they really wanted to promote

  • BTW, I've noticed that they were playing the song "Cosmos Rockin'" in one of the NBA arenas during halftime (I don't remember which one, probably Indianapolis). Now, I wouldn't be surprised to hear a new Rolling Stones track being played, but Queen is not a band that is EXTREMELY popular in the States. Nontheless, they were still able to make their way into American public consciousness with the new stuff. That's a good sign.

  • The best way to look at this album is just concider it as a side-project / collaboration / tribute album. Considered as that, its one heck of a great rock music.

Besides, I'd rather have this, than nothing. May, Taylor & Rodgers proved that they are still a creative force.

  • Your So right! Rock and Roll never die!

  • If Queen never happened, I think I would like this song more. But since it did unfair or not, I'm going to compare with Freddie and John, and compared to them, this doesn't compare.
