I think most people are stuck in a perpetual cycle of guilt and revenge upon a world that was "given" as a past that is irrevocable as well as their own pasts that become irrevocable in the midsts of temporal transience and a constant becoming.

nice video professor...a good study of ancient greek culture provides some outlets and ways in which the greeks dealt with transience individuation and the chaos of dissolution, fate, and tragedies...the sense of the tragic has been lost to scientific materialism and rationality..truth has been deified and mythos narratives and the dissolution of personal identity in the face of life situations and flux has all but disappeared....the guilt is rooted in the blind acceptance of cultural mediocrity
