on the First Annual International Temple Mount Awareness Day, dozens of Jews and Gentiles gathered together at the foot of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem to ascend in reverence and prayer to the holy site. The crowd gathered around the newly built Golden Menorah to hear encouraging words of Torah wisdom from Rabbi Yisrael Ariel and Rabbi Chaim Richman. The impromtu ceremony concluded with a sanctification of the New Moon of Nisan, and joyous song.

why do they go there and ignore the warnings of the chief rabbinate who says it is forbidden to enter the area due to sacredness, it does not make sense!

Can someone please explain why the new temple can't be built *around* the Dome of the Rock? All the models I've ever seen show a large courtyard in between the buildings; surely some clever architect can arrange a shared platform?

This is comming from a Christian who adores ancient architecture and civilization! If you're ever done with this, would you mind rebuilding the Colossus of Rhodes, too? That was awesome.

@2237lemon Actually,the Dome is over the thrashing stone in the courtyard of the Temple.Eventually the Muslim nation(the BEAST) will place the Black Stone in the re-built Temple.

Does everyone realize that the Dome of the Rock will have to be destroyed for the temple to be put in its place. These are not happy go lucky prophecies being fulfilled... these are bad times where it will be setup for a false messiah .. the true new temple won't be until after the true messiah returns... pushing the Zionist agenda too fast instead of letting happen in its proper time setups the way for pure terror (42 mo,) .even for beleivers.. noone should wish for this to happen in their time
